Groove Gala,

Ms. Bridgé: When you were growing up what did you dream of becoming?
Answer: Dreamt of being part of the glamourous fashion industry, where I could meet the talented designers, stylists, be featured in vogue one day! I was always enamoured by the glamourous and glitterati!! I loved anything sparkly and everything that glitters!!!
Ms. Bridgé: When did realize you had a talent for designing?
Answer: Growing up in a cosmopolitan world, travelling a lot with my family, inspired me in many ways. Putting glamour and glitter together , imi was born!
Ms. Bridgé: What's your biggest challege designing your own line?
Answer: My biggest challenge is designing a wide range of bags, to suit everyone's distinct tastes. IMI=I am I. Imi believes that each individual has their own distinct indivuduality. So, catering to different personalities, styles and complementing their persona, is what I find most interesting and challenging at the same time.
Ms. Bridgé: How do you want women to feel when wearing one of your designs?
Answer: An imi woman exudes confidence, charm and elegance. Whether you wear an imi bag with a simple black dress or your wedding gown, an imi bag makes you feel just fabulous.

Ms. Bridgé: What celebrity would you like to see wearing your designs and explain why?
Answer: I am a fan of Victoria Beckham and would love her to wear one of my designs ones day- she is always very elegant looking.
Ms. Bridgé: What do we have to look forward to from your next collection?
Answer: My next collection is called the 'ice' collection, perfect for the summer!! For this range I have used swarovski crystals in all sizes to create the larger than life look.
Having work with India's best designers for many years, Simrin Sigh decided to make herpassion for
fashion, her business and established her label IMI after relocating to London in 2009.
The IMI handbags are all leather lined with a detachabe shoulder chain-leaving you with an option
of wearing the bag on your shoulder.
