Segreto London

Ms. Bridgé: How old were you when you knew you wanted to be a desinger?
Answer: From the age of 16 i have been involved in the Fashion world one way or another, having worked in womenswear and attending many fashion weeks in Russia,Milan and New York, i decided that menswear is what i want to be involved in and upon becoming an assistant buyer and working under a creative director of a designer menswear website here in London, i decided i need more freedom in both - self expression and vision what a modern man should wear, having attended and presented my idea in St.Martins School was the first step to actually creating Segreto London.

Ms. Bridgé: What influenced this decision?
Answer: Two main influences of Segreto London are easy to guess - London and Men. London - because anything goes - i can let my creativity hit the sky, London is home to anything new or innovative, here people will not judge or look at you in a weird way - I can be myself - i can create pieces and material for my t-shirts that are Me and that portray of how i see Men feeling Women....how i see men feeling and knowing their sexuality, sexuality of opposite sex, their desires and more.

Ms. Bridgé: What kind of response did you get from friends and family?
Answer: Having been raised in a strict and conservative family, i had to introduce the idea of portraying sex as art and transferring it into day to day wear carefully. In the end, they know my collections and artworks will be a portrait of me - "a classy rebel, punk with a sophisticated touch", the clothes will speak and portray sex - but never be vulgar.

With regards to friends, they were patiently waiting, they knew i'd make a move and start creating something on my own, it is something i dreamt of while graduating my oxford a-levels, finishing off my business degree, i always knew if i do anything with business - it will involve my brand.

Ms. Bridgé: Will you design more than T shirt in the futrue?
Answer: The T-shirts will stay. The artworks change as i change - as i change my view of what surrounds me, of what i think is sexy. However, i have been offered to work on a collaboration with a jewellery line for men. However, i would like to create a full and extensive line of menswear in the future including accessories and underwear.

Ms. Bridgé: Where would you like your career to be in ten years?
Answer: I see Segreto going International, Unfortunately, all the biggest English brand names have moved to Milan and Paris due to local economy not supporting enough design and fashion in the UK. I want to proudly say - I started this in London, and although it is now (speaking in 10 years) an international name - everything is Still done in London with mere control of logistics elsewhere.

Ms. Bridgé: What do we have to look forward to from your next collection?
Answer: Ufff......i wanted to keep it a secret till November, but obviously will give some hints: Sex, Japan, Obscenity. How's that?:)

Bill Cox

Writer, Wedding DJ and Musical Artist.

Musical Influences: Elton John (first favorite artist), Motown (I am from Michigan) Cameo, Kool and the Gang (favorite funk type of music), Styx, Seger Digital Underground (Humpty Dance might be my favorite of all time) Alternative (Cure, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, The Smiths)

Comedy Influences: Ceech & Chong (loved those comedy records), Don Rickles Laugh-In (Dick Martin), Bill Murray, Sam Kinnison

About my Music: I call it “Dance Poetry”. It has edge and a great dance beat.

It bugs me when I can’t understand what people are saying in a song. Also, I don’t have much in common with the new artist. I’ve been around and have some things to say. I like to say it with humor and edge.

Liliana Britton

I absolutely enjoy wearing Escada Marine Groove perfume. It's the pefect sweet, yummy, summer smell. Nothing but compliments whenever I spary it on. The bottle alone is gorgeous so I knew it would be delicious! The rich, purple tote is great for my summer essentials. Love it & thank you.
